He is survived by: his son Patrick of New Orleans, LA; his wife Johnita Martin of Todd Town, AL; his siblings, Carolyn Nicholson of La Mirada, California and Charlie Cox, Jr. of Todd Town, AL; his sisters-in-law, Gloria Cox of Houston, TX, Ida Cox of Malcolm, AL, Gloria Gibbs (George) of Mexia, AL, Bettie Bryant (Frank) of Los Angeles, CA, Emelia Kennedy of Frisco City, AL and Lillie Davis of Frisco City, AL; and his close friends, Tracey Stewart and Tyrone Monigan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
