He was predeceased by : his parents, Pickens Aaron Overstreet and Vera Mae Finney Overstreet; his son Maynard Aaron Overstreet Jr.; and his siblings, Elsie Overstreet Jones, Iveline Overstreet and T. J. Overstreet.

He is survived by : his wife Louise Helveston Overstreet; his daughters, Sandra Overstreet Karr (Paul), Brenda Overstreet Lambard and Meadria Overstreet McIntyre (Charles); and his sisters, Helen Overstreet Sanborn, Ella Mae Overstreet Jones and Inez Wagoner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
