He was predeceased by: his father John Collins Sr.; and his brother Anthony Collins. He is survived by: his mother Jannie Scott Collins of Jackson; his children, Shavonda Collins Cooley (Cecil) of New Orleans and Michael O'Hara Collins Jr. of Los Angeles, Calif.; his grandchildren, Jauan Malik Cooley, Carter Cooley and Conner Cooley; his siblings, Gina Collins and John Collins Jr. of Jackson; his aunts and uncles, Annie Nora Jackson of Fairhope, Shirley Fountain (Gregory) of Jackson, Audrey Wilson Sr. (Apostle Arthur) of Shreveport, Eva Millendar (Kenneth) of Moss Point, Cheyenne Ezell of Lawton, Okla., Arnell Scott of Grove Hill and Johnny Stewart of Grove Hill; and his friend Rhonda Causey of New Orleans. He is also survived by many cousins and other family members.
