He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Cleo Furr and RoseLyn Furr (Smith) of Jackson; and his grandparents, Andrew Cleve, Penelope Furr of Jackson, John and Ruby Smith of Salipta, Alabama..

He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Michelle Harrigan (Patrick), Andy Furr (Holly) and Jessica Furr (Jay VanDee); and his grandchildren, Virginia Ann, Elle Michael Harrigan, Maggie, Emma, Sarah Beth Parker, Drew, Kate Furr and William Garris.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jackson Volunteer Fire Department Truck Restoration at P.O. Box 856 Jackson, Alabama 36545.
