It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myra Elaine Taylor (Jackson, Alabama), who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Susie Taylor and Leon Robinson; and her stepsister Libby Williams. She is survived by: her children, Markelly of Jackson and Shardae Taylor of Jackson; her sister Lucille Taylor of Jackson; her godchildren, Kirslee Ivory and Patrick of Washington; her aunts, Mary Alice Mose of Barlow Bend, Christine of Alma and Bennie Jo Dees of Manila; her uncle Clarence Robinson (Callie) of Alma; and her close friend William Earl Clarke. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
