He was predeceased by: his parents, LeeRoy Dean and Ruth Ezell Dean; and his siblings, Roy Manley Dean and Myrtle Ruth Winborne. He is survived by: his wife Lauretta Dean; his daughters, Layle Boatwright and Shannon Dean; his grandchildren, Ashlynn Sierra, Patrick House, Griffin and Raegan Boatwright; his great grandchildren, Isabelle and Jace; and his sisters, Annie Laura Stanfill and Inez Dean Burroughs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
