She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesse E. Smith and Lillie Jane Bolen Smith; her husband Elmore Brown; her daughter Mary Elaine Brown; and her husband George Wimberley.

She is survived by : her children, Janie Nobles (Terry) of Fairhope, Kenneth Brown (Jackie), Tommy Brown (Linda) of Leroy and Andy Brown (Sharee) of Jackson. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and other relatives.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Washington County Nursing Home, 14600 St. Stephens Ave, Chatom, AL 36518, or to a favorite charity.
