It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ruby Wimberley (Jackson, Alabama), who passed away at the age of 97, on August 9, 2022. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse E. Smith and Lillie Jane Bolen Smith; her husband Elmore Brown; her daughter Mary Elaine Brown; and her husband George Wimberley.

She is survived by: her children, Janie Nobles (Terry) of Fairhope, Kenneth Brown (Jackie), Tommy Brown (Linda) of Leroy and Andy Brown (Sharee) of Jackson. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and other relatives.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Washington County Nursing Home, 14600 St. Stephens Ave, Chatom, AL 36518, or to a favorite charity.
