He was predeceased by : his daughter Patricia Agee Hamilton; and his siblings, LaDon Hamilton, Richard Hamilton, Alphonso Hamilton and Annie Ruth Knight.

He is survived by : his wife Annie Smith Hamilton of Jackson, AL; his children, Maurice Hamilton (Vanessa) of Jackson, AL, Arnell Hamilton (Michelle) of Mobile, AL, Roderick Hamilton (Gladys) of Jackson, AL and Wanda Madison of Fulton, AL; his siblings, Joe Lewis Hamilton (Ellen) of Greenville, AL, Jerome Hamilton (Rosie) of Greenville, AL, Linda Hamilton of Greenville, AL, Joyce West of Greenville, AL, Mabelline Hamilton of Greenville, AL, Nancy Young (Joe) of Daphne, AL and Maxine Warren (Bryant) of Fort Mitchell, AL; his grandchild Breana Agee of Jackson, AL; his godson Timothy Mitchell (Stephanie) of Mobile, AL; and his friends, Johnny Jackson, Robert Thomas and James Chapman. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Andrews Funeral Home (800 Depot Rd, Jackson, AL 36545). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Pine Level Baptist Church (128 Pine Level Rd, Greenville, AL 36037).
