He was predeceased by : his parents, George Robert Woodyard, Sr. and Rachel Sullivan Woodyard; and his siblings, Mary Lee Smith, Barbara Roberts, Rudolph Woodyard, George R. Woodyard, Jr. and Benny Woodyard.

He is survived by : his brothers, John R. Woodyard, Sr. and Raymond Woodyard. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
