She was predeceased by: her parents, Fletcher Sr. Overstreet and Lula Overstreet; and her siblings, Vivian Inez Overstreet, Lonnie Clyde Overstreet, Lula Marilyn Woodyard, Thomas Autry Overstreet, Martha Jackson and Fletcher Britton Overstreet Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Sunshine Gilchrist and Summer Cartwright; her granddaughter Summer Nicole Cartwright; her siblings, Audrey Palmer, Geraldine Dumas (Sam) and Louie Overstreet (Peggy); and her close friend Janie Williams.
