He was predeceased by: his parents, Leamon Vines and Jessie Miller Vines; and his siblings, Clarence Vines (Beatrice), Norwood Vines, Mavis Pitts, Joyce Jinks (Clarence Tater) and Lorene Eickenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Davis Vines; his daughter Kathy Patterson (Bobby) of Alexander City; his grandson Hunter Vickers (Brianna) of Dadeville, Alabama; and his great grandchildren, Houston and Hansen Vickers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lake Martin Funeral Home (16797 US-280, Dadeville, AL 36853). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
