He was predeceased by: his parents, Herald Evan Garrett and Ruth Smith Garrett; and his brothers, Carl Garrett and Craig Garrett. He is survived by: his siblings, Becky Vinson, Shirley Blair, Fred Garrett (Jenny), Talmadge Garrett (Vicki), Elizabeth Culver, Melvin Garrett (Virginia) and Richard Garrett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Connect Church (428 Marshall St, Alexander City, AL 35011). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
