It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Cole in Jacksonville, Alabama, born in Lineville, Alabama, who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer L. Cole and Lois Wilson Cole. She is survived by: her brother Charles Cole; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Cole; her nieces, Leigh Anne Cole Schleper (Dave), Lori Cole Houston and Nancy Cole Buchanan (Bart); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Dr. Brad Houston (Hannah), Hayley Houston Smith (Daniel), Garrett Houston, Mitchell Schleper (Meleah) and Rebekah Buchanan Jones (Austin); and her nephew Finley.
