He was predeceased by: his father Edward Burns; and his brother Billy Burns. He is survived by: his wife Gail Burns; his mother Mary Burns; his children, Candace Leigh Burns and Clint Joseph Burns (Jamie); his grandchildren, Merritt Joesph Burns of Matthew Jamison and Mallie Jean Burns; his sisters, Bonita Strickland and Jane Abbott; and his sister-in-law Brenda Burns. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
