Bobby Joseph Burns Obituary

We bid farewell to Bobby Joseph Burns of Jacksonville, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 10, 2025 at the age of 72. Bobby touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father Edward Burns; and his brother Billy Burns. He is survived by: his wife Gail Burns; his mother Mary Burns; his children, Candace Leigh Burns and Clint Joseph Burns (Jamie); his grandchildren, Merritt Joesph Burns of Matthew Jamison and Mallie Jean Burns; his sisters, Bonita Strickland and Jane Abbott; and his sister-in-law Brenda Burns. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Williams (5579 Co Rd 37, Jacksonville, AL 36265). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
