She was predeceased by: her parents, Raven Baty and Geraldine Baty of Attalla, AL.; her son Allen Benefield; her son-in-law Greg Colvin; her brother-in-law Oscar Harp; and her great grandchild Baker Beach.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Griffith; her children, Mark Gaskin (Shonna), Penny Colvin (Blake Smith), Chris Gaskin (Carol), Janna Parris (Andrew), David Griffith (Missy) and Steve Griffith (Michelle); and her siblings, Billie Harp, Angie Whitt (Steve), Lisa Claridy (Scott), Danny Baty (Charlotte) and Jimmy Baty (Yvonne). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hokes Bluff Funeral Home (1901 Piedmont Cutoff, Gadsden, AL 35905). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
