He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bonner and Katherine Bonner; and his wife Mary Jo Bonner. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Raby (Jim), David Bonner, Ira Bonner (Shari) and Jason Bonner; his grandchildren, Rikki Benitez (Jose), Colton Jones, Ryan Loggins (Joel), Ashley Ried (Chris), Savannah Bonner, Alyssa Tharpe (Landon) and Haylee Hunton (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Eli, Elliott Benitez, Corbin, Mollie, Emmie Jo Loggins, Coper Dean and Sadie Reese Tharpe; and his brother Johnny (Margaret). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other beloved extended family.
