He is survived by: his wife Belinda Mowry; his children, Deke Overson (Suzanne), Billie-Jo Briggs (Wayne), Trevor Mowry (Darren) and Samantha Powell; and his brothers, David Mowry and Eric Mowry. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the K. L. Brown Funeral Home & Crematory (322 Nisbet St NW, Jacksonville, AL 36265). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (322 Nisbet St NW, Jacksonville, AL 36265).
