She is survived by: her children, Gerald D. Brown II and Stacey J. Burt; her granddaughters, Christina Brown, Ashley Irwin and Stacey Haynes; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Vessell, Dalton Haynes, Madilynn Brown, Aiden Irwin and Cayden Mathis; and her brother Jerry McCarley (Gay). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
