He was predeceased by: his wife Roxanne Darty Cain; his brother Jim Cain; and his grandparents, Carl Lane, Jessie Lane, Louie Cain and Earline Newell.
He is survived by: his parents, Mary Cain and Bill Cain; his son Tyler Fitzhugh; his sisters, Adrienne Key (Landon) and Melissa Hood; and his close friend Kim Smothers.
