With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Glover (Jasper, Alabama), who passed away on July 17, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Delonia Drummond Glover; and his siblings, Glenn Glover, Hugh Glover of John, Thomas Glover, Arnold Glover, Ophelia Scott, Ruby Harbor, Opel Barron, Normel Tingle, Bethel Atkins and Mavis Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Helen King; his daughter Gaye; his grandchildren, Ashley Boyd and Hunter Tate; his son-in-law Ashley Boyd; his great grandchildren, Mosley, Camden and Hunter Tate; and also, Helen King Glover and David Boyd, Jr..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Chapel (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a Veterans' organization, Humane Society, or charity of your choice.
