He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Lane and Trudie Lee; and his siblings, Charles Lane, Verlin Junior Lee, Timmy Lee, David Lane, Sue Seal, Ann Freeman, Patsy Tyree, Elizabeth Turrentine and Kathy Robertson.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Kay Lane-Hendrix (Kenneth), Bobby Daryl Lane (Jennifer) and Richard Allen Lane (Vicki); his sister Donna Summerall (Jethro); and his close friend Willie Shirley. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Collins-Burke Chapel (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504).
