He is survived by: his wife Marisha McElrath; his sons, Leo S. Williams and Byron McElrath; his grandchildren, Marissa Pike, Trent Williams, Jayden Williams, Derrick Williams and Sampson Pike; his siblings, Tomekia McElrath and Frederick McElrath (Valerie); his mother-in-law Vernice White; his siblings, Alfreda Cox, Shrenda McElrath, Tasha Grooms, London Parham, James "Pappy" Windham, James "Buck" Thomas, Billy Ray Nalls, Joe Nalls, Bobby Meadows Jr., Arthur Hood, Howard Thompson and Derek Coger; and his siblings' children, Brittney McElrath, Kayla Brown, Phylecia Grimes and Quentin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kilgore-Green Funeral Home (1200 Birmingham Ave, Jasper, AL 35501). The lying in state was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cordova High School (183 School Rd, Cordova, AL 35550).
