He was predeceased by: his wife Glenda NeSmith; his parents, William McKinley NeSmith and Zora Harris; and his sister Eva Jean Atkins. He is survived by: his children, Deirdre Hood (Chad) and Tim NeSmith (Kelly); and his grandchildren, Drew NeSmith (Lyndsey), Kayla Chapman (Dewayne), Dustin Hood (Erin), Ashlyn Bradshaw (Matt) and Madisyn Jones (Mason). He is also survived by 13 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pisgah Baptist Church (5306 3rd St Sipsey, Jasper, AL 35504). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
