It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Cook of Jasper, Alabama, who passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Cook to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford Cook and Bethel Cook; and his siblings, Allison Tucker, John Cook and Manley Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Vanesa; his children, Melissa Van Kirk (Josh) of Fort Mitchell, AL and Timothy Cook of Vestavia Hills, AL; his siblings, Cathy Cook of Hoover, AL, Thomas Cook of Hoover, AL and Robert Cook of Jasper; his grandson Liam Smith of Fort Mitchell, AL; and his father-in-law Floyd Guthrie of Carbon Hill. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
