He was predeceased by: his father George Steffan; his stepmother Gloria Steffan; his mother Dorothy "Dot" Ozelie; his stepfather James Ozelie; and his son Gregory Steffan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Suzan Steffan (Michael Light) of Jasper, Jennifer Pitts (Shane Pitts) of Jasper and Kelly Kunis Faber of San Diego, California.; his siblings, Charlene Troutwine, Marlene Adrian of La Porte and James Steffan (Brenda Steffan) of Monticello, Indiana.; and his grandchildren, Dustin Steffan of Saint Paul, Minnesota, Sara Hurley (Kati Hurley) of Dora, Alabama, Samantha "Renn" Steffan of Garden Grove, California, Caleb Steffan of Jasper, Megan Royster (Bass Royster) of Jasper, Saphira Finch of Jasper, Carson Steffan of Jasper, Carter Finch of Jasper, Ava Steffan of Jasper, Skyler, Stella Faber of San Diego and Elijah Pitts of Jasper.
