It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Simmons (Jasper, Alabama), who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Grace is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Grace's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Frye and Walter "Charlie" Frye. She is survived by: her siblings, JW Frye (Ann), JoAnn Frye, Sue Garren and Cathy Phillips. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great-great nephews and a great-great niece.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Chapel (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504).
