He was predeceased by : his parents, Noah Kilgore and Willie Lee Poe Moore. He is survived by : his wife Norma Kilgore; his children, Pat Kilgore Blackwell (Tommy) and Michael Kilgore (Jeri); his grandchildren, Kelly Blackwell Kell (Nick) and Cody Kilgore; and his sister Lorez Thrasher. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Walker Memory Gardens (692 AL-5, Jasper, AL 35503).
