He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice Atkins; his daughter Sharon Prescott; his parents, Ruth Atkins and Mose Atkins; his siblings, Joe Atkins, Aaron, Ralph Atkins, Louise Kimbrell, Nancy Sanders and Margie Atkins; and his grandson Luke Atkins.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Atkins (Misty), Rick Atkins (April) and Connie Plocinski (Tony); his grandchildren, Tiffany Lawrence (Jacob), Jenny Gish (Ryan), Makenna Atkins, Jacqueline Atkins, Tyler Atkins (Brittany) and Brian Plocinski; his great grandchildren, Cooper, Carter, Callie, Adalynn, Sophia, Theo, Ben and McKenzie; his sisters-in-law, Debra Atkins, Joyce Atkins and Joann Bonner; and his niece Kristy McGinnis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
