With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Hicks of Jasper, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lanell Hicks and Raymon Hicks; and his siblings, Raymond Allen Hicks, Wallace Wayne Hicks and Brenda Denise Bigham.
He is survived by: his children, Kassidi Hicks, Aleigha Hicks, Courtney Morris, Kayla Morris, Brooke, Breanna Callahan, Chasen and Chancelor Morris; his sisters, Lavone Whitlow (Terry Joe Whitlow), Susan Key (Billy Key) and Renae Hicks Downey (Tim Downey); and his grandchildren, Kendon Ross Webb and Avalynn Nevaeh McWalters.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Chapel (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504).
