He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Hudson; his brothers, Edward Hudson, Joe Hudson and Jack Hudson; and his adoptive son Nicholas Hudson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anna Robinson and Emma Sherer; his sister Kay Hudson Rice; and his grandson Rhett Robinson. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the McCollum Fire Department or the Eldridge Freewill Baptist Children's Home.
