She was predeceased by: her husbands, Horace Glen Custred and William Andrew McBee Sr.; her grandson Dr. Sawyer Lynn Mullen; her parents, Ollie Kilpatrick and Elvie Bradley Kilpatrick; and her brother Clyde Kilpatrick.

She is survived by: her children, Dr. Daryl Custred (Becky), Cheryl Custred Mullen (Richard), Rusty McBee (Alice), Andy McBee Jr. (Kaye), Beverly McBee Earnest (Jeff) and Kathy McBee Lott (Buddy); her grandchildren, Rachel Vincent (Stephen), Dr. Parker Mullen (Camden Nolen) and Emily Sanford (Austin); her great grandchildren, Sage Olivia Vincent, Ivy Lauren Vincent, Shepherd Andrew Vincent, John Parker Mullen, Olive Rose Vincent, Claire Marcelle Mullen, Lennon Taylor Sanford, Eden Taylor Sanford and Thomas Sawyer Mullen; and her cousin Shirley Thomas Boner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Walker Area Foundation "The Dr. Sawyer Mullen Fund".
