She is survived by: her daughter Carla Marie Sandlin Hanks (Frankie); her grandson Joshua Kent Thompson (Whitney); her great grandchild Jackson Hanks; and her sister Emogene Faye Cantley (Jim). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kilgore-Green Funeral Home (1200 Birmingham Ave, Jasper, AL 35501). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Kilgore-Green Chapel (1200 Birmingham Ave, Jasper, AL 35501).
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Jasper's First Baptist Church.
