It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Culpepper (Jasper, Alabama), who passed away on May 12, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Carroll Culpepper, Sr. and Frances Elizabeth "Bill" Carroll Culpepper; his brother Ellis Carroll Culpepper, Jr.; his parents-in-law, Thomas Melvin Leach and Alice Byram Leach; and his brother-in-law Tommy Lee Leach.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Leach Culpepper; his daughter Dottie Sinclair; his grandchildren, Danielle Leshae Balser (Justin Crane), Crystal Lacole Sinclair (Tom Connolly) and Kevin Grey Sinclair (Savannah); his great grandchildren, Hayden, Malachi, Maverick, Keegan, Maddox and Silas; his siblings-in-law, Douglas Leach, Rita Tullos (Terry) and Ina Faye Nelson; his niece Trisha Nelligan (Ray); his nephews, Adam Tullos (Erin), Mark Nelson (Josette), Tracy Tullos (Kim) and Derek Nelson (Rachel); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kiersten, Macy, Lana, Hugo, Oscar, Rosa, Landry, Kylee, Karrington and Bradley; and also Sam.
Donations in memory of Sam may be made to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Building Fund.
