Sandra A. Touchstone Obituary
We announce the death of Sandra A. Touchstone of Jasper, Alabama, who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 79. Sandra will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Otis Touchstone; her parents, William Sweatman and Beatrice Sweatman; her sister Sammye Kay Broom; her son Barton Touchstone; her grandson Forrest Touchstone; and her great grandchild Lorena Carolina McGehee.
She is survived by: her brothers, Mike Sweatman (Jan) and Gary Sweatman (Sherri); her children, Shay McGehee (David), Shelly Cordell (Kip), Bryan Touchstone (Melissa) and Bruce Touchstone; her grandchildren, Andrew McGehee (Marisa), Jared Hudson (Hannah), Jacob Hudson (Alexia), Kailyn Hodo (Dyer), Tre'Tyree (Summer), Katie Touchstone, Garrison Touchstone (Jesica) and Chandler Touchstone (Ivy); her great grandchildren, Esmen, Iah McGehee, Harper, Elijah, Mary Frances Hudson, Wesley, Walker Hodo, Raegan Touchstone, Emery, Forrest Touchstone, Noah and Wilder Monwell Touchstone; her daughter Cathy Henderson; and her close friend Helen Clement. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and special friends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504).
