He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley "Coot" Burnett and Minnie Irene Burnett; and his siblings, Willa Faye Burnett Vanhorn, Buddy Burnett and Jerry Burnett.
He is survived by: his wife Dona Louise Burnett; his sons, Terry J. Burnett (Shirley F.) and Shawn M. Burnett (Karen); and his brothers, Sammy Burnett and Danny Burnett (Susan). He is also survived by Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
