William Christopher Elder Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 28, 2026, at the age of 67, William Christopher Elder (Jasper, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Jerry Brown; his grandparents, William (Bus), Stella Elder, Willie and Mae Brown; and his brother-in-law Randall Gammon.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Elder; his sons, Christopher Elder and Robert Elder (Gena); his mother Billie Ruth Dorning (Carolyn (Mama) Tackett); his siblings, Greg Elder (Rhonda), Roy Brown, Dennise Stricklin (Vic), Cyndi Edwards (Wade) and Charles; and his in-laws, Betty Gammon, Cinda Johnston and Jeffery Gammon (Annette). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
