James Piper Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Piper of Jefferson, Alabama, who passed away on April 13, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Piper and Lucille Piper; his sister Brenda Kanter; and his brother-in-law Jeff West. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Piper; his daughters, Christy Piper Linn and Erin Piper Glynn (Eddie); his siblings, Brian Piper (Dana) and Tracy Piper Ramsey (Rick); his sister-in-law Andi Sides (Ray); his grandchildren, Alyssa Linn (Katie), Alyson Hoglan (Michael), Weston Glynn and Will Glynn; and his great grandchildren, Owen Hoglan, Baker Hoglan and Amelia Talley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
