She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald H. Shelton and Janet Lewis Shelton; her son David "Rex" Darrow, Jr.; her son-in-law Bobby Hadnott; her grandson Wilder Crowson; and her brother Hank Shelton.

She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Bamberg; her children, Michele Ryan (Jeff) of Madisonville, LA, Rachel Hadnott of Sugarland, TX, Mark Darrow (Bridgette) of Spanish Fort, AL and Joshua Darrow of Brookside, AL; her stepchildren, Daniel Bamberg (Stefanie) of Birmingham, AL, Kandice Crowson (Jeremy) of York, AL and Stephanie Sparks (Jackson) of Birmingham, AL; and her sisters, Barbara Hendry of California and Joan Keaster of California. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
