He is survived by: his father Earl Roper; his sons, Devin Roper of Jemison and Danny Roper of Jemison; his stepdaughters, Brittney Smith of Jemison and Crystal Smith of Jemison; his grandchildren, Caroline Roper and Deliah Roper; and his siblings, Buddy Roper of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Kathy Roper Shaw of Troy, Susan Driver of Jemison, Lisa Rasberry of Maplesville and Lynn Roper of Jemison. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home (1709 Lay Dam Rd, Clanton, AL 35045).
