He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Lowery and Lottie Day Lowery. He is survived by: his wife Rosellar Lowery; his daughter Kim Parsons (Steve); his granddaughter Jasmine Parsons; his great grandchild Embreigh Rose Parsons; and his sister Ruby Caudle.
