It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Thaxton of Jemison, Alabama, born in Arnoldsville, Georgia, who passed away on May 18, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Thaxton and Sallie Hansford Thaxton. He is survived by : his children, Bradley Bert Thaxton (Susan) and Karla Redman; his grandchildren, Jonathan Thaxton, Brittany Thaxton, Jeremiah Redman, Isaac Redman and Katelyn Redman; his siblings, Lee Thaxton and Joann Escoe; and his close friend Nancy Jones.
