He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Shaneyfelt and Lera Bell Shaneyfelt; his grandsons, Clay and Cannon Shaneyfelt; and his sisters, Claudia Watson, Helen Popwell, Sue Popwell and Betty Greene.
He is survived by: his wife Peggie Shaneyfelt; his sons, Shane Shaneyfelt and Sean Shaneyfelt (Chay); his grandsons, Owen Shaneyfelt, Graeme Shaneyfelt, Noah and Jonah Byrd; his great grandchildren, Zeke and Lakelynn Byrd; and his brother James Shaneyfelt (Patricia).
A graveside service was held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Martin Memorial Cemetery (2300 Yellow Leaf Rd, Clanton, AL 35045).
