It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Eugene Benson (Jemison, Alabama), who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles Monroe Benson and Ollie Mae Hilyer Benson; and his brothers, William Arthur Benson, Charles Curtis Benson, Jimmy Robert Benson and Miles Rodney Benson.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Carol Porter Benson; his sons, Stan Benson (Susan) of Greensboro and Brian Benson (Ann) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Matt Benson (Myriam), Shelby Mildenberg (Matt), Kelsey Benson, John Benson, Luke Benson and James Benson.
