It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Barbour Gibb of Jemison, Alabama, born in Jefferson, Alabama, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Gibb and Catheryn Glasscock Gibb; his wife Mary Jane Gibb; and his sisters, Lynn Morris and Becky Gibb.
He is survived by: his sons, John Matthew Gibb (Regina) of Jemison and Brady Wayne N. Gibb (Megan) of Jemison; his grandson Braylon Wayne Gibb of Jemison; and his sister Jean Silvers of Columbiana. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
