It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luvene Boothe of Jemison, Alabama, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Alice Langston and Cleveland Columbus Langston; and her children, Carl Jones and Betty Lucas. She is survived by : her children, Gwen Price (Eddie Batte), JoAnn Maddox (Ronald), Bonnie James (Daniel) and Gregory Best; her grandchildren, Tammy Smitherman, Regina James, Carol Bice, Christy Hay, Candice Lucas, Salesha Jones, Kevin Ray, Michael James, Bradley Lucas, Joey Jones, Jason Jones, Jarrod Jones, Jacob Jones and Cory Best; and her sister Elsie Frith. She is also survived by Numerous Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.
