She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Ellison and Doshie Porter Ellison; her husband Clyde Porter; her daughter Annette Price (Dennis); and her siblings, Carlee Ellison and Onzell Glass.
She is survived by: her son Jimmie Clyde Porter (Debbie); her grandchildren, Jeff Price (Tammie), Penny Maddox (Ronald), Bridgett Smith (Jason) and Shannon Courington (Adam); her great grandchildren, Haley Maddox, Macey Maddox, Lilly Smith, Claire Smith and Emma Ruth Courington; and her siblings, Rena Foshee, Faye Albers, Elaine Bolton and Luther Ellison (Betty). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home (1709 Lay Dam Rd, Clanton, AL 35045). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the Midway Memorial Gardens (24348 US-31, Jemison, AL 35085).
