He was predeceased by : his mother Cecilia Belcher. He is survived by : his wife Lynn Belcher of Jemison; his children, Jennifer Jackson (Heath) of Jemison, Cassie Huett (Glenn) of White City, Lauren Drescher (Derek) of Alabaster and Josh Ashmore (Shana) of Jemison; his grandchildren, Sadie Jackson, Anna Margaret Kiker, William Huett, Tatum Huett, John Hunter Huett, Elise Drescher, Alexa Labac and Melanie Ashmore; his father Taylor Belcher of Jemison; and his great-aunt Louise Howton of Quinton.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations in Steve's memory be made to the Chilton County Humane Society.
