He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Jean Wright Wilson; his parents, Harris Wilson and Burlie McLemore Wilson; and his siblings, Nell Carroll and Mack Wilson.
He is survived by: his sons, David Wilson (Cathy) of Kennedy and Terry Wilson of Kennedy; and his brothers, Woody Wilson (Linda) of Kennedy and Brooks Wilson of Fayette. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nelson Funeral Home Chapel (3659 AL-171, Fayette, AL 35555). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
