With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Moody of Kennedy, Alabama, who passed away on September 9, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Coleman Jefferson Moody and Clera Victoria Logan; his children, Neila House Moody and Timothy Wayne Moody; his son-in-law James "Mingo" Rivers; and his sister-in-law Shirley Junkins Moody.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Moody; his daughters, Sherry Rivers and Sonya Ritch (Terry) of Hamilton, AL; his daughter-in-law Benji Moore Moody of Columbus, MS; his stepson John-Paul; his brother Charles Moody (Tuscaloosa); and his grandsons, Jared Rivers, Dakota Rivers, Heath Crowe, Clay Stockman, Joe Vail and Chadd Garnett. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
