He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Hamner; his children, Dana Hamner (JW), Dawn Hamner, Rachel Sims (Marlon) and Ryan Hamner (Ragan); and his grandchildren, Braylon Sims, Emmeline Hamner, Justin Maxwell, Addisyn Maxwell, Riyah Sims and Greyson Hamner.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Atlas Church of Christ (3461 Co Rd 73, Killen, AL 35645). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 5:15 PM at the Atlas Cemetery (3461 Co Rd 73, Killen, AL 35645).
